ABSEILING

Abseil down a building, a rock face, into a quarry, even into the sea! An abseil is a fun way to challenge yourself and raise money for your charity at the same time. If you have a venue already, that's fine.

If you need help finding somewhere, speak to us and we can discuss your requirements. We can accommodate any number of people, anywhere in the UK, or even abroad!

3 Peak Challenge

YORKSHIRE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE

This is a challenge over three mountains, covering 23 miles and climbing over 5000 feet, in under 12 hours!

Your team, competing against other teams will navigate over three mountains, Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

The 3 Peak Challenge is a big day out, physically demanding, great fun and it is a really good social event too! Money can be raised for a charity of your choice, should you wish to do so.

The fastest team to complete the course wins. The winners receive an 'Action Packed Adventure Day', for 8 people, from All Terrain Adventures, with the choice of the following activities:

Mountaineering / caving / abseiling and Ghyll scrambling….more

Come first or last, this is a big day out, a test of fitness. It is team building, character building and a great way to see the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. Finishing is a great achievement in itself!

A team of four, with suitable clothing, is all you need on the day. Be prepared for rain, it happens sometimes!

Some training is advisable prior to the event.

Food and drink will be provided en route.

There will be qualified mountain leaders providing safety support on the mountains.

Start time is 7am; finish time is 7pm.

Free parking will be available at the start/finish line.

There are hotels and B+Bs in the area, if accommodation is required.

THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN ENGLAND

Climb the highest mountain in England and raise money for your charity. Scafell, in the Lake District, is the highest mountain in England and is 977metres high.

This is easily achievable in a day, including journey time from most places. However, Snowdon in Wales, or Ben Nevis in Scotland, can be used instead. Snowdon being the highest in England and Wales. Ben Nevis is the highest in the UK.

This is great fun, a chance to do something you might not normally do and see amazing Lakeland scenery!

THE LAKES CHALLENGE

THE LAKES CHALLENGE

Put yourself and your team through the Lakeland Challenge! Zip across a 300 foot quarry, climb a mountain and scramble up a river, then jump down a series of waterfalls!

Based in the Coniston area, the challenge starts with a 300 foot zip wire over a 200 foot drop. This is then followed by an ascent of Wetherlam and, from the summit, then descending to Coniston to Ghyll scramble and jump down a series of waterfalls….

YORKSHIRE CHALLENGE

Face up to the Yorkshire Challenge! Climb a rock face, abseil down it, then climb a mountain, cross a valley and go through a cave system to come out of another cave!

This is based near Ingleton in Yorkshire and starts by climbing up a rock face, secured by a rope, abseiling down the rock face, then climbing up Whernside, one of the Yorkshire 3 peaks. Then, after crossing the valley, the group go into a cave system and pass into another cave where they exit on the mountain side…

This is a chance to do several activities in one day, face challenges and even fears! This is a beautiful landscape and you will get the chance to climb it, take in summit views and even check out the amazing world that lies underneath! This is all done in one day.
